How the Thunder B System Works

The Thunder B system consists of three main components: a reusable core, a disposable plastic shell and a standard 12g CO₂ cartridge (sold separately unless stated). Once assembled, the reusable core stores the compressed CO₂ inside the shell. When the safety pin is removed and the spoon is released, the timer activates before the shell ruptures, rapidly releasing the compressed CO₂ to produce the distinctive Thunder B report. After use, simply replace the spent shell, install a fresh 12g CO₂ cartridge and the reusable core is ready for your next game.

Compatibility Notice

These TB-S-01 replacement shells are designed for the standard hand-thrown Thunder B Sonic Grenade system. They are not compatible with the Thunder B Shocker (Tripwire Mine) system. Manufactured from lightweight plastic, each shell is intended for single use and ruptures upon activation to produce the signature Thunder B sound effect. Simply screw a fresh shell onto your compatible Thunder B reusable core, fit a new 12g CO₂ cartridge, and you're ready for your next game.
