Important Compatibility Information

This core set is designed exclusively for the Thunder B Shocker (Tripwire Mine) system. It is not compatible with the standard hand-thrown Thunder B Sonic Grenade. The Shocker uses a dedicated tripwire trigger mechanism together with TB-S-05 replacement shells.

How the Thunder B System Works

The Thunder B system consists of a reusable core, a disposable plastic shell and a standard 12g CO₂ cartridge (sold separately). Once assembled, the reusable core stores the compressed CO₂ inside the shell. When the tripwire is triggered, the shell ruptures, rapidly releasing the compressed CO₂ to produce the distinctive Thunder B report. After activation, simply fit a fresh TB-S-05 shell and a new 12g CO₂ cartridge before using the reusable core again.

The TB-05APS is the ideal starting point for players looking to add tripwire-activated sound effects to objective-based games, while keeping running costs low by only replacing the shell and CO₂ cartridge after each use.
