Airsoft Gun Maintainance Guide

Airsoft Gun Maintainance Guide

Regular airsoft gun maintenance is essential for keeping your AEG, GBB pistol, GBB rifle, or sniper rifle performing reliably and accurately. After every skirmish, wipe down the exterior to remove dirt, mud, and moisture, and inspect your rifle or pistol for any signs of wear or loose screws. Cleaning the inner barrel with a cleaning rod and lint-free cloth helps remove dirt and residue, improving accuracy and ensuring consistent BB flight. Always use a 100% silicone oil designed for airsoft guns to lubricate moving parts and seals on gas-powered models. Avoid using petroleum-based lubricants, as these can damage rubber components such as hop-up buckings and O-rings.

For AEG airsoft guns, disconnect the battery after use and store LiPo batteries safely at their recommended storage charge. Gas blowback users should leave a small amount of gas in magazines during storage to help protect internal seals. Periodically check your hop-up unit, magazines, and connectors for wear, and replace damaged parts before they affect performance. With routine care and quality maintenance products, your airsoft gun will remain reliable for years to come. At Bullseye Country Sport, we stock a full range of airsoft cleaning kits, silicone oil, maintenance tools, replacement parts, batteries, gas, and accessories to help keep your airsoft equipment in peak condition throughout the season.
